Watching movies is one of my hobbies. I like to play three movies simultaneously and can actually forget about meals. When I find a movie interesting, I would check out who the director is and give the credit to him/her; but I don’t usually look for the name of the scriptwriter.
For every movies, the scriptwriter is also responsible for making it enjoyable and wonderful through good plot, crisp dialogues and the like. It’s not solely the director. I perceive scriptwriters to be creator of the soul of a movie; and the director to be the one who gives it life through movement.
It is not since college that I appreciate more of the writer than the director. And apparently, it is also not until college that I saw the movie Mean Girls. (I am not a fond of girl stuff. It’s just that I love movies….*wink*…. )
Lately, I have read an article about talented individuals. That’s when I came about Tina Fey. Witty, talented, and rich. She was the writer of Saturday Night Live, the script writer of Mean Girls where she also co-starred in, and many others. And she was announced as the “Sexiest Woman in the World” in the Annual Top 100 List of a bisexual Web.
